Life Cycles in Our Local Ecosystem - Grade 2 + 3

Students, get ready to explore, observe and discover! Led by our Environmental Educators outside in nature, you will examine the fascinating life cycles of our local animals and plants. Through observation, games, and interactive activities, students will learn how these organisms grow, change and survive within our ecosystem.
By studying the relationships between living things and their habitats in nature, students can strengthen their observation abilities and critical thinking skills, while increasing their understanding of how organisms function together in their environment.
Know Before You Go:
- Dropoff and Pickup Program – only registered students may participate.
- Parents/adults cannot attend.
- This is an outdoor class, rain or shine.
- Water bottles, sunscreen, bug spray, weather appropriate clothing and shoes are advised.
- No outside food is allowed.
- A confirmation email will be sent to the email used for registration.
