Nature's Winter Survival Challenge - Grade 2 + 3

DATE: Wednesday 11/4/26   TIME: 9:30am - 11:30am

Wednesday, November 4 | 9:30-11:30 a.m. | $15 | Grades 2 + 3

What happens to plants and animals in winter? In this outdoor adventure facilitated by our Environmental Educators, join a challenging mission to discover how organisms survive as the abundance of the warmer seasons transition to cooler temperatures, less food supplies and habitat changes. Search out the environmental clues of seasonal changes and investigate how those affect plants, animals and insects during fall and winter.
Through place-based environmental science, learn about the natural world’s amazing survival strategies in difficult weather— migration, hibernation, dormancy, changing food sources and protection.
