Wednesday, September 2 | 9:30-11:30 a.m. | $15 | Grades 4 + 5
Led by our Environmental Educators outdoors, students will learn how organisms’ life cycles and adaptations enable them to survive changing habitats, and the effects as animals and plants interact. Through guided exploration, activities, and problem solving, students will discover how animals respond to alterations in food availability, weather, predators, shelter, and habitats. Through studying behavioral adaptations—such as seeking shelter or finding food—students will consider how these adaptations promote an organism’s survival.
