Keep your eyes peeled for sightings as you enjoy guided hikes, craft beers, wine and other delicious drinks from Trailhead. Register for exciting competitions to show off your cryptid-like strength and skills. Then kick back around the campfire with the whole family for a night of cozy, woodsy fun.

We also have two opportunities for some competitive fun: 

• The Sasquatch Stomp Adventure Race is a family-friendly off-road scavenger hunt using navigation. Teams consist of 2-4 people and you have the option to register on foot or a combination of on foot and on bike (no e-bikes permitted). Click here to view the rules. 
• The Cryptid Cornhole Tournament puts your aim to the test to see if you can bag the most points in this classic backyard game. Click here to view the rules. 

We're also offering two free guided hikes. For both hikes, please be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bug spray and bring plenty of water.  

Micheaux + More Trail Tour: Looking for an adventure? You've found it! Our staff will guide you through some of the newest trails at Stowe, leading you down to Lake Wylie before venturing into the newest section of the Carolina Thread Trail adjacent to Stowe's property. 

• The route will be on crushed concrete.
• The route is approximately 3-3.5 miles in total and will be mostly downhill on the first half, and mostly uphill on the way back. It is an out and back route. 
• It will be almost exclusively shaded for the vast majority of distance.

Forest Footprints Guided Hike: Everyone knows Sasquatch love a healthy forest! Join our staff and specialized volunteers on a tour of the Phenology/scientific trail and surrounding to learn about what our forests tell you. 

• Hike approximately 1-2 miles of relatively easy terrain, that is mostly stroller and wheelchair friendly with the exception of one set of steps. 
• The trail will be mostly shaded, but will contain areas of sun.
